What's Cuban Salsa?
At Cubanasalsa
we teach Cuban (the original) Salsa, it's a 'social style' and is completely a freestyle
dance (meaning its not choreographed) so you can dance with anyone.
We regularly run courses for absolute beginners with no experience of dancing
whatsoever. You'll learn right from the very basics up to
leading & following,
styling and individual moves, you'll find it's a lot of fun too! We're passionate about our courses, the
lessons are informal, humorous and very social. Salsa
is enjoyed by people just like you and me the world over. You'll discover that ALL
the seemingly impossible moves
you see
are
simply variations
of the
fundamentals
put together, all of which we'll enjoy teaching you.
Salsa dancing
is a fun, low-impact cardio workout that conditions and
strengthens the body. It helps you look good, feel great and it will
spice up your personal life. Our classes are an easy way to meet someone & gain more friends as it's one of the few hobbies that
singles, couples or
friends can do together. You'll find it's a
deceptively
good way to exercise that fits into
your lifestyle easily.
Salsa dancing develops co-ordination of mind, muscle & balance
and is a great social asset by promoting confidence.
Salsa dancers can go anywhere in the world and dance salsa with anyone. Salsa is
one of the the most rewarding ways
you'll ever find to spend your leisure time.
 Venue
Our courses are taught every Thursday night starting from 7:30pm
at:
The Belvedere
Park Club, Belvedere Road, Burton on Trent, Staffs,DE13 0RQ (see map link below).
It's a great venue with a huge wooden dance floor, free parking too.
Cost
Our first nights for courses are
always free, the full 7 week courses are just £30. Ladies, bring a male partner and he'll get the course half price! Experienced dancers
are always welcome.
We also offer beginners
courses and Salsa dancing/music for Community groups, Parties, Corporate events and individual
tuition, please ask.
